Technovault is a cloud backup service for QuickBooks Online. We hold a copy of your QuickBooks data so that you can restore it if something goes wrong. This page summarises how we handle that data.
What we store
When you connect a QuickBooks Online company, we periodically pull a copy of its data via the Intuit API and store an encrypted snapshot in our cloud storage. We do not store your QuickBooks password — authentication is handled by Intuit OAuth.
How we use it
Your backup data is used to provide the Backup and CFO products to you. We do not sell your data. We do not use it to train AI models that benefit other customers. CFO analysis runs against your own data on your behalf only.
Deletion
You can disconnect a QuickBooks company at any time, which stops new backups and starts the retention countdown on existing snapshots. You can also request full deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.
